Type 301 (1.4310) is an austenitic stainless steel, it permits cold working to the ideal combination of mechanical properties desired for springs. Its unique combination of hardness and toughness makes for better forming quality in this Full Hard Temper plus increased fatigue life in the finished spring.

Stainless precision strip we offer is produced with tighter tolerances than normally specified for precision strip.This in combination with closer mechanical properties and narrower chemical analysis gives our customers advantages such as shorter setup times, reduced number of production stops and increased product quality.
