What is stainless steel channel?
The SS 316 C Channel is C shaped and it is the second most material used for stainless steel products. The 316 channels can be used in sea water and high chloride ion rich environment. The 316 Stainless Steel C-channel also has molybdenum in the composition and can be used for food grade applications as well.
Properties: Corrosion resistance makes it an ideal material for chemical, petrochemical, and waste treatment applications. High-temperature resistance makes it ideal for use in cryogenic and high-temperature processing applications. Its surface finish makes it ideal for food, medical, and pharmaceutical manufacturing applications.
Common Uses: raceways, braces, frames to support equipment, machines, tanks, enclosures, and housings.
