Duplex stainless steel plates are available in various grades, such as:
Duplex 2205: This is the most widely used duplex stainless steel grade. It contains approximately 22% chromium, 5% nickel, and 3% molybdenum. Duplex 2205 offers good corrosion resistance, high strength, and excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking.
Super Duplex 2507: This grade has a higher chromium and molybdenum content compared to Duplex 2205. It provides even greater corrosion resistance, particularly in environments with high chloride and acidic conditions.
Other duplex stainless steel grades: There are several other duplex stainless steel grades available, such as Duplex 2304, Duplex 2507, and Duplex 2101, each with its own specific composition and properties.
Cold-rolled super duplex stainless steel plates refer to super duplex stainless steel plates that have undergone a cold-rolling process. Cold rolling involves passing the steel through rollers at room temperature, which increases its strength, improves the surface finish, and reduces the thickness.
